"Diaphanous Robustness"
A full design to construction project. We started with the objective to bring in a harmonious composition a neutral ruggedness into the delicate world of flowers. Our aim was to provide an earthy, unpretentious and organic space where the abundance of flowers and different decor items could be showcased in a blending environment.
For architectural selections, we aligned the vision with natural materials in textured finishes, such as polished concrete, artisan subway tile, powder coated neutral black shelving and natural concrete sink with exposed lighting. When it came to deciding interior finishes we wanted to maintain an upscale but effortless essence by including areas exposing black Marquina porcelain top and combining it with the rawness of the natural-finished Oak and a braided Jute rug.
The synthetization of all of these elements provided the owner a neutral canvas that not only aligned with his branding and image but also the story he wanted to vocalize, which is: "To enter the space is to transport yourself to the country, where the most delicate things can also have a rawness essence to them"
