Carla J. Acosta

Principal Designer  + Creative Director

Passionate, allured and exposed to construction since an early age. Young Carla would enthusiastically partake in her family's construction endeavours assisting with design and material selections with her parents, her favorite days involved visiting construction sites, seeing the processes and exploring around. Today, the smell of concrete vividly reminds her of those days and all those memories she holds, it is one of her favorite places and phases to be in.

It is no surprise that she pursued a career in a field that combined her passions. She holds a degree in Design of Architecture from The University of Central Florida and, while studying full-time she had the opportunity to be a drafter, learn about sites and spatial development through a local developer and work as an apprentice for a small civil engineering firm, but the job that she enjoyed the most was assisting her parents with their own cabinet and countertop manufacturing company, she not only was able to express herself creatively but also learn the building and construction processes through the trades' points of view.

She accredits these on-field experiences as the main cause for her construction and on-site understanding that vastly translate into the creativity to curate and construct conscious designs while comprehending the "how-to's" when building or manufacturing the vision and forthcoming with any solutions when troubleshooting is needed.
